One of the side hustles idea, you read often is selling stock images, you read that if you have got a knack for photography, then this hustling idea is surely for you, but in reality, in our busy daily life, we don’t have that much time, to focus on the scenes around us and capture them, we are like always in a hurry or exhausted in our lives. Nobody is that happy or free that he is like always capturing the scenes around him/her.

With AI taking the spotlight, the side-hustle scene has exploded in all sorts of cool directions! One of the hottest trends right now is selling AI-generated art/images. Everyone is talking about selling AI art, but the question which arises here is that where can one sell AI art/images? I am here to answer this question. I searched for such platforms, and I found out some really cool ones. But specifically for AI-generated images, I tried Adobe Stock and Shutterstock , to see that can I really sell AI images? Let’s get the answer I found by sharing my experience with you.

I tried it out as it is a really popular platform, and many writers who write about passive income, have added it’s name in selling stock images, but we are testing out selling AI-generated images. One or two weeks ago, I created some SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) patterns using patterend AI , first I uploaded that four SVG images by adding all the description, I submitted them, they were shown in pending approval section. I waited for some days, and then I received a message that they are rejected or not approved. There is no label for AI-generated images on Shutterstock , if there had been one, I would have turned it on.

So, if you're thinking about cashing in on your AI-generated images by selling them on Shutterstock, you might want to hit the brakes. Unfortunately, Shutterstock has a strict no-no policy when it comes to uploading images created by AI. They’re all about keeping things authentic and ensuring that contributors have the rights to the work they're selling. While it might be tempting to dive into the world of AI art and make a quick buck, you'll need to stick to images you’ve personally created or have rights to.
